Take your time Tuesday

As I sit here writing this blog I see a deer walking at the back of our little timber. All the leaves are off of the trees now, so I'm seeing them more often. Always fun to enjoy nature.

Today I'm linking to a new blog that I just found: sohappy. I found her through another new blog: quiltsalott.blogspot.com/. It's always fun to see what others are working on!

The photo above is one of my hand-made, recycled projects...I love to reduce, reuse and recycle! I made this from an antique arm-chair cover...like I was ever going to use that! I've also used old doilies and parts of cutter quilts. If you're interested in making one or need some supplies for it, email me...I love to get personal emails! farmersdotter@frontiernet.net

  1. That's one gorgeous pincushion, I love the use of old doiley's and your attitude to using recycled goodies.

  4. I love it when people reuse things from other projects, especially when it has such beautiful hand work!

  5. Okay, my lack of sewing skills will be apparent with this question, but is it now a pin cushion? It looks like a sweet little gift just waiting for someone, but I don't think you want any one to unwrap it! LOL
