Fall fans to take to craft show

Thought ya'all might like to see some quilts instead of pumpkins and Kooper! I made these from some vintage blocks that I've had around for awhile. I am going to have a booth at the Clarinda craft show on October 16th and will have some of these blocks for sale along with a lot of other "stuff"!
Click on the picture if you want to see it bigger.

Picking pumpkins with Kooper!

We love the outdoors! Kooper helped to harvest the pumpkins and gourds at Grandma's house.

Pumpkin time!! We harvested the few pumpkins and gourds in my garden and then went to the BIG pumpkin patch at the Longabaugh's in rural Bedford. Lots of fun!!

Oops, the internet special on my website has the wrong date on it! It should be July 1st, 2011. Maybe that's why no one's been calling! Please give me a call or email. It's getting cooler now, good time to snuggle in and quilt!

This is a picture of my kids with my Mom and Dad in mid 80's.

They had a big pumpkin patch for the grandkids.
The back end of the pickup was full of all the pumpkins and I think there was even more left in the field.

Kooper helping Grandma. He was a good helper, even had his own gloves and boots! He thought he was pretty big stuff! This was my Grandma Davison's old house and we were getting a few things out before it gets torn down. I was glad to have help (Lonnie and Tara helped too) We had a lot of good memories in that old house. The property has been in the Davison family for over 150 years. It was named a Heritage Farm before my brother passed away.

Happy fall ya'll! I love to decorate for the different seasons, so come take a look! I have lots of openings this fall and winter, so PLEASE give me a call or email! Also, anyone that wants to help me spread the word about the Farmer's Dotter, I would be happy to send you a flyer and business cards to pass out at your quilt guild meetings, etc. I would love to come visit at your meetings also, just let me know what might work good for you.

There's gonna be a new sheriff in town! For those of you who don't know me, my hubby Lonnie has been sheriff of Taylor County for the last 14 years. He is retiring in November and our son Josh is running for sheriff! If he gets it , he will be the 3rd generation. His Grandpa, Marven Weed was sheriff for 14 years. So we have been a little busy campaigning! If you live in Taylor County, we would appreciate your support! Thanks!--From the Weed's
