Lots of quilts and fun things to look at!
I'm having my quilt club meeting tonight here at my house. We have about 20 members and usually have between 5-10 show up. Just wanted to send any of you within driving distance a special invitation...know this is the last minute, but guess that's the way I work sometimes! I would love to have you and some of your friends come and visit sometime. I'm thinking if I could get any of you to come here, you might just love it enough to come and stay! If it doesn't work out tonight, almost anytime in the next few weeks would be great! (Gonna go south after Christmas for a few weeks) Pardon the expression, but I like to kill 2 or 3 birds with one stone, meaning I like to clean the house once and make it do for 2 or 3 things! I wish I lived close enough to just pop over to your place for your quilt club! :-) I love the comfy quilts on all the beds. Looks like it's such a fun place for a quilt retreat! (Have you already advertised in the various Quilt Guild Newsletters?)
ReplyDeleteLOL! I know what you mean. I'm the same way. When I do my ultra heavy duty cleanups I like to think of all the people I can invite for dinner... cuz I want to make good use of the hours of energy it took to get it looking spotless and organized.
I so wish I lived closer! I would come to your quilt club meeting in a heartbeat!
