This next quilt is also one that I picked up at an auction. It is machine quilted with about a 1 and 3/4" grid. Does anyone know the name of it? I may make a pattern for this some day.

This is one of my quilts upstairs on the retreat beds. I picked it up at an auction for a song because it had a tear at the top. I married it with this slobber guard and it's almost as good as new! I was trying to get a picture of the cute little children's print, you'll have to click on the picture to see it closer. It is machine quilted.

Both of them are lovely! I'm so glad YOU found them at the auction and gave them a new home. Quilts need to be in a place where their beauty, and all the hard work it took to make them, are appreciated
ReplyDeleteI can attest to the sleepability of these quilts, it was so nice to snuggle under the quilt at night when I came for a Retreat.
