Many of you have seen this quilt before on my blog, but I have entered it into the Quilt Festival on Amy's Creative Side blog, so I'm showing it again. I love vintage fabric and antique quilts, so this quilt is designed to look old, (as most of my quilts are). I have quite a stash of vintage fabrics and would love to have some of them reproduced someday (that's another one of my dreams). I do sell patterns and vintage kits, if anyone is interested, email me at farmersdotter@frontiernet.net.
I designed this quilt after an antique one that I had seen, only smaller. I think it is my favorite one yet. I named it after my dear Mother-in-law who had the middle name, Mae, and a few other dear friends with that middle name.
Love the beautiful fabric and the simple but stunning pattern.

ReplyDeleteVery pretty...love your header pic with the grandson.
ReplyDeleteI do love this pattern. You are so lucky to have a collection of vintage fabrics! I did see your patterns when I visited The Quilt Shoppe! I recognized them immediately. That's a terrific spot to have them displayed.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for all your lovely comments!
